By accessing or using Tuition Log ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Description of Service
Tuition Log is a digital workspace and memory system for private tutors. We provide tools to manage student timelines, process lesson notes using AI, and track financial ledgers.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
- Free Tier: Users may manage up to 3 active students free of charge.
- Pro Tier: For £25 per year, users receive unlimited student capacity, automatic payment deductions, and advanced AI rules. Payments are non-refundable unless legally required.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Furthermore, you agree that you have the appropriate consent from your clients (or their guardians) to input their names and educational progress into the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not abuse the Service's AI capabilities, attempt to bypass our Row Level Security, or use the Service to store illegal, offensive, or highly sensitive personal data (e.g., medical records) that falls outside the scope of standard educational tutoring.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we strive for 100% uptime and accuracy (especially regarding AI-generated summaries and financial ledgers), you are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of communications sent to parents and financial records.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Tuition Log be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Service, including data loss or lost tutoring revenue.
